Within the scope of the legal services it provides, Özkaynak Law Office treats all data obtained from its clients as confidential in accordance with Article 36 of the Turkish Attorneyship Law No. 1136 and the principle of attorney–client confidentiality. III. Job / Internship Applicants
Within the scope of job or internship applications submitted to Özkaynak Law Office, the personal data you provide to us through your curriculum vitae (CV) and any documents considered as attachments thereto may be processed during the evaluation process of your application, to the extent permitted by the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and other applicable legislation, and within the limits explained below.
The term “processing” covers all activities involving personal data, including collection, recording, storage, sharing, access, use, transfer, and destruction.
Personal data shared with us within the scope of your application may be processed without explicit consent, solely for the purpose of evaluating applications and carrying out recruitment processes, as such processing is necessary for the establishment of a contractual relationship. Personal data shared with us within the scope of applications shall not be shared with third parties for any purpose.
When sharing your personal data with us, you are required to ensure that your CV and any documents considered as attachments do not include special categories of personal data as defined under Article 6 of the KVKK. Such data includes information relating to race, ethnic origin, political opinions, philosophical beliefs, religion, sect or other beliefs, appearance, membership in associations, foundations or trade unions, health, sexual life, criminal convictions and security measures, as well as biometric and genetic data. Applications containing such data will not be evaluated.
